Lecture by Marco Rehmeier (Bielefeld) on "A short introduction to Convex Integration and a potential connection to spontaneous stochasticity".

Abstract:

We briefly review techniques and results of convex integration for fluid dynamical (S)PDEs. Moreover, we present recent open questions and first results regarding the relation of these techniques to spontaneous stochasticity, a topic which continues to draw more and more attention from mathematicians and mathematical physicists. Based on a joint work with Franco Flandoli (Pisa)
