Mathematics at Clausthal University of Technology has undergone a profound transformation in recent years. New appointments and the establishment of a new degree course have made the profile even more application-oriented. Close cooperation with institutes of computer science, economics and engineering provides the material for the further development of mathematics on relevant current topics.
