Statistics and stochastics with R

The free software R (www.r-project.org) has become an almost standard tool for working with complex stochastic and, above all, statistical problems. This system offers a huge number of general and highly specialized data structures and functions. However, getting started with R is not easy, you first have to familiarize yourself with a number of special features, notations etc..

In this training course, we want to offer an introduction to R for beginners and demonstrate some not too complex applications. We also offer an introduction to the basic questions of statistics and deal with some simple problems from discrete stochastics, for which R can also be used.
