Workshop: Mathematics of compressible fluids
SPP2410 Workshop: Mathematics of Compressible Fluids - Analysis and Numerics
The workshop is part of the DFG Priority Program DFG Priority Program 'Hyperbolic Equilibrium Laws in Fluid Mechanics'. The aim is to bring together international experts on this topic and to establish new collaborations. There will be two mini-courses and a series of research talks by invited speakers. More detailed information will follow soon.
Date: 23.06.25 - 27.06.25 (the last day can be used for joint discussions)
Location: TU Clausthal, Clausthal-Zellerfeld, Germany
Minicourses: Rémi Abgrall (University of Zurich): Numerical Conservation and Its Challenges: Non-Conservative Terms, Structure-Preserving Schemes, and More
Eduard Feireisl (Czech Academy of Science, Prague): Dissipative solutions to models of inviscid fluids
Invited speaker: Emil Wiedemann (Erlangen): Measure-valued solutions of the compressible Euler equations
Benjamin Gess (TU Berlin): Path-by-path regularization by noise for scalar conservation laws
