Welcome to the homepage of the Mathematical Modeling group!

The Mathematical Modeling group is headed by Dominic Breit and deals with non-linear (stochastic) partial differential equations. The application-oriented focus is on problems from fluid mechanics, in particular compressible fluids, stochastic Navier-Stokes equations and fluid-structure interaction. On the theoretical side, we are interested in: regularity theory, calculus of variations and function spaces. Finally, we do numerical analysis for problems related to these topics.
