The Continuous Optimization group develops and analyses mathematical methods and algorithms for high-dimensional non-linear optimization problems. It thus makes an important contribution in the field of mathematical modeling, simulation and optimization (MSO) in order to make novel mathematics more easily available as a key technology in a wide range of application fields.
