Philips sampling plan

To determine a Philips sampling plan the indifference pointp0.5, i.e. the point at which Ln,c(p0,5)=0,5 is, and the steepnessh0 have to be defined.

We search a (n-c) sample plan with a steppness at the indefference point p0,5 of more than h0.
For the determination of c we start at c=0 and increase c until 2(np0,5)c+1/c!*exp(-np0,5) is bigger than the reuqired steepness. The corresponding n can be found in the chi2 distrubution table.
