spricht über das Thema: „Optimization with Cardinality Objectives and Constraints“
Abstract: Optimization problems with cardinality objectives and constraints arise in various applications in areas such as portfolio optimization, machine learning, or signal processing where sparsity, selection, or resource limitation is essential. These problems, however, pose significant computational challenges due to their combinatorial and non-convex nature. This talk presents a selection of results on how to model and solve such problems by utilizing different techniques from reformulation and relaxation approaches to highly tailored algorithm design.
