The students of the mathematics and computer science cources are reprecented in the boards of Clausthal University of Technology by the Student council Mathematics/Computer science.

The Student council offers the following services:

• Providing scripts and exams for exam preparation,
• Representation of students' interests in the committees of the university (changes of examination regulations, appointments of new professors, design of study programs, fields of application of the funds available),
• Advice and assistance with problems in their studies,
• Production and distribution of semi-annual Student Council journal "Wurzelmännchen", in which the courses of the last semester will be reviewed,
• Organization of student council master table on which teachers and learners can discuss current issues of studying.
